When did you join Dragonfly Creative?
October 2019 (Coming up on 1 year with Dragonfly very soon!)

Why did you join Dragonfly Creative?
After finishing my degree, I was looking for a role in a smaller company where I would have the opportunity to refine my existing skills whilst also learning new ones. When I saw the job vacancy I thought it sounded like the perfect fit.

What is your role?
My official role is Graphic Designer but one of the things I like the most about Dragonfly is that there's always opportunity to take on other responsibilities that a designer might not get to in larger companies.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
That two days are never the same. The variety of work and clients means that things are always changing, which keeps things interesting!

Why did you choose a career in Graphic Design?
I've always been creative but in a more general sense which meant that I could never quite narrow it down into a specific focus.

I always really loved the visual quality of lettering and fonts and was obsessed with advertisements, packaging and layouts. When I discovered that's what graphic design is, it was like a lightbulb moment! I knew that was the career for me.

If you could be a superhero, what would be your superpower and why?
Flying or being able to teleport. Basically, anything that allows me to avoid planes, airports and the general stress of travelling.
 
What is your favourite thing to do in your spare time?
I always think it makes me sound boring and lazy but sitting down and watching TV and films! I love to see the craftsmanship that goes into the production, taking note of everything from script, cinematography, set design and costumes.
 
What is your favourite thing to cook and/or eat?
My favourite thing to eat is either pasta or pizza. Pretty much all Italian food. I'm more of a 'cook out of necessity' kind of person rather than for the enjoyment.
 
What is your favourite joke to tell?
How do you make a tissue dance? Put a little boogie in it!
